My Journey To Chiropractic

While growing up in Alberta, I thought my future would be in veterinary medicine.  That passion led me to complete a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at the University of Alberta with plans to attend veterinary school.

During that time, as a competitive volleyball player, a lower back injury introduced me to chiropractic care. Not only did it help me recover and return to the sport I loved, but I was inspired by the compassionate, whole-person approach my chiropractor took. That experience changed the course of my life and inspired me to help others regain confidence in their bodies and return to the activities they enjoy.

My Approach to Care

Creating a welcoming environment where you feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for is one of my highest priorities. I believe the best care begins with understanding the whole person and the underlying factors contributing to pain and dysfunction, not just the symptoms.

Every treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs, goals, and lifestyle. By combining chiropractic mobilizations and / or adjustments with soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and education, my goal is to help you move better, build confidence in your body, and support your long-term health.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, navigating ongoing pain, or looking to move and feel better, I’d be honoured to be part of your journey. I look forward to hearing your story and welcoming you into my practice.

Outside the Clinic

When I'm not in the clinic, you'll often find me travelling, hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, canoeing, walking my dog, practicing yoga, or simply capturing nature with camera. Spending time outdoors, helps me recharge, stay present, and reminds me of the importance of movement, wellness and caring for the world around us.

Education & Professional Experience

My educational journey reflects a lifelong interest in health, movement, and helping others. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at the University of Alberta, I pursued massage therapy training, developing a strong foundation in anatomy and hands-on soft tissue treatment. I later earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where I found a profession that combined science, compassionate care, and my passion for helping people move with greater comfort and confidence. My commitment to lifelong learning eventually brought me back to my original interest in animal health through my certification in Animal Chiropractic at Healing Oasis Wellness Centre of Canada.

Today, with 25 years of experience, I provide individualized care that combines chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and patient education to help people move better and achieve their health goals. While my clinical practice is dedicated to primarily caring for people, that experience reflects my appreciation and commitment to understanding movement, function, and wellness from every perspective.
