My Journey To Chiropractic
From as far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a veterinarian—but life had other plans.
Born and raised in Alberta, I grew up playing every sport I could. As a competitive volleyball player, a lower back injury led me to a chiropractor for the first time. Not only did they help me recover and return to the sport I loved, but I was inspired by the way they approached my care: treating me as a whole person, not just an injury.
That experience changed the course of my life. It inspired me to provide the same compassionate, patient-centred care that had such a profound impact on me—helping others regain confidence in their bodies and return to the activities they love.
Education & Experience
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Alberta with plans to attend veterinary school, but my experience with chiropractic care stayed with me, and my passion for it continued to grow.
I first studied massage therapy to build a strong foundation in anatomy and hands-on soft tissue treatment—skills that remain an integral part of my practice today—before earning my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2001.
Although my career shifted toward caring for people, my love of animals never faded. In 2009, I became certified in animal chiropractic, allowing me to combine two lifelong passions.
For more than 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for patients of all ages—from young athletes and growing families to weekend warriors and active older adults—helping each work toward their own health and wellness goals.
My Approach to Care
I believe the best care begins with understanding the whole person. Every patient has a unique story, and I take the time to understand not only their symptoms but also the underlying factors contributing to pain and dysfunction.
Working together, we create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs, goals, and lifestyle. By combining chiropractic adjustments with soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, and personalized lifestyle strategies, my goal is to help you move better, build confidence in your body, and support your long-term health.
I believe the best outcomes happen when patients are active participants in their care. Creating a welcoming environment where you feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for is one of my highest priorities.
Outside the Clinic
Outside the clinic, I feel most at home in nature. Whether I’m hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, canoeing, walking my dog, or simply spending time outdoors, it’s where I recharge, reconnect, and find balance. Yoga has also been an important part of my life, and although I practise it less frequently today, its philosophy continues to shape how I think about health, balance, and living well.
I love travelling, experiencing different cultures, and exploring the natural world. Wildlife photography is one of my favourite ways to slow down and appreciate the beauty of nature, and I’m passionate about conservation and protecting the wildlife and wild places that inspire me. Time outdoors reminds me to slow down, stay present, and appreciate life’s simple moments.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, navigating ongoing pain, or looking to move and feel better, I’d be honoured to be part of your journey. I look forward to hearing your story and welcoming you into my practice.
